Kitchen with kitchen island
A kitchen layout featuring a kitchen island is both popular and stylish. A kitchen island offers many advantages. It provides additional workspace, ample storage capacity, and a space to relish cooking and dining. People often situate a kitchen island in a room that connects to the dining room and/or living room. This effectively integrates the kitchen into the living area of the house. Often, people incorporate a seating area into the island to create a cozy space for enjoying breakfast with family, drinks, or dinner with friends. L-shaped kitchen
An L-shaped kitchen is a layout in which cabinets and worktops are located along two adjacent walls. This gives the layout the shape of an L. Often, people place an L-shaped kitchen in the room's corner, but you also have the option to position it as an island. You can make optimal use of the corner by, for example, installing a revolving carousel or by extending shelves into the corner.

U-shaped kitchen

Straight kitchen
Placed along one wall, a straight kitchen is perfect for narrow or small spaces that require less work and storage space. Despite its compact size, this kitchen layout offers plenty of space for built-in appliances. Laying out a straight kitchen is relatively simple, but there are several options. For example, you can place the fridge in a semi-high cabinet at the end of the kitchen, with an oven above it. You can also choose to keep everything low and place both the fridge and oven under the worktop, leaving the space more open.
Parallel kitchen
A parallel kitchen layout places two distinct, straight kitchen elements opposite each other. It is possible to place both parts against a wall, but you can also choose to place one part against the wall with a kitchen island in front of it. If the space is big enough, you can even place two islands parallel to each other. It is important to consider the space between the two kitchen parts. For example, it's beneficial to ensure that the kitchen drawers or doors facing each other can open correctly. On the other hand, the space should not be too big. Then the kitchen layout loses its functionality.
